Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 August 2026
1. Scope
This policy explains what space-hills.online collects, why, and what happens to it afterwards. It covers this website only. Once you follow a link to an external platform, that platform's own policy takes over.
2. What We Collect
Information you give us. If you write to us through the contact form or by email, we receive your name, your email address and whatever you put in the message.
Information collected automatically. Standard server logs record IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages viewed and timestamps. This is ordinary web-server behaviour and applies to every visitor.
We do not ask for payment details. We do not ask for identity documents. We have no reason to hold either, and we do not want them.
3. Why We Process It
- To answer the messages you send us
- To keep the site running, diagnose faults and investigate abuse
- To understand which pages get read so we know what to improve
- To meet a legal obligation where one applies
4. Cookies
The site uses a small number of cookies. Some are strictly necessary and keep basic functions working, including your language choice. Others are analytics cookies that count visits in aggregate.
You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings at any time. Blocking the necessary ones may break parts of the site; blocking analytics changes nothing you will notice.
5. Analytics
Aggregate traffic statistics tell us how many people arrive, which pages hold attention and where readers leave. Reports are grouped, not individual. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell data to anyone.
6. Sharing
We share personal data only with hosting and analytics providers acting on our instructions, and only as far as their service requires. Beyond that, we disclose data when the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. There is no exception to that.
7. Retention
Contact messages are kept while the conversation is open and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you follow up. Server logs rotate on a short cycle. Aggregate analytics have no personal identifiers and are kept indefinitely.
8. Your Rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, correction of anything inaccurate, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, or object to processing altogether. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
Write to info@space-hills.online and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
9. Security
Traffic to and from the site is encrypted with TLS. Access to the mailbox behind the contact form is restricted. No system is perfect, and we will not claim otherwise, but we take reasonable measures for the kind of data we hold.
10. Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
Updates appear on this page with a revised date at the top. Material changes will be signposted clearly rather than slipped in.
